Privacy Policy

Who we are

Weeekly for Mac, iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch (the “App”) and this website are provided by:

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the controller of the limited personal data described below that we actually receive, such as emails you send us.

Your tasks and settings

Everything you enter in the App (task titles, days, colors, stickers, repeat rules, reminders and notes) is stored on your devices. If you are signed in to iCloud, it is also kept in your own private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit), so it can sync between your devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

Reminders

Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your devices. They are created and delivered by the operating system on your device and are not sent to us. You can turn notifications off at any time in Settings.

What we don't do

Purchases

The App is purchased through Apple's App Store. Payments are processed by Apple, and we do not receive your payment details. Apple may share aggregated, non-identifying sales and usage reports with us, as described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Contacting us

If you email us (for example, through the Feedback option in the App), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply and help you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep this correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request, and then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. It is hosted on GitHub Pages, and GitHub may process technical data such as your IP address in server logs to deliver and secure the site, as described in the GitHub Privacy Statement.

Children

The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct and delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Because your tasks live on your devices and in your iCloud account, you can view, export or delete them yourself at any time. For anything we hold, such as emails, write to us at khawro@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland, that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

Changes

If we change how the App handles data, we'll update this policy and its effective date on this page.
